
Police detectives led by Kabalagala police criminal investigations boss Nusurah Kemigisha most of the day combed Dejavu bar located in Kabalagala under the searing heat
In trying to reconstruct the events of Monday night, that preceded the shocking death of AK47, the regional police commander directed for the arrest of a one Kisenyi the bar manager to help shed light on what happened and on the security measures at the premises.
So far what is emerging from investigations, according to Kisenyi's narrative, shows that on the fateful night, AK47 was in the company of friends including the resident DJ called Bobi, and singer Diamond Oscar.
EVENTS PRECEEDING HIS DEATH
AK47 was set to release a gospel song, and on that evening he had a laptop on which he was playing the song and was showing to his friends.
At about 11.00pm he excused himself and went to the restrooms. However shortly after a panicked cleaner dashed from the restrooms towards AK 47's friends and announced that the singer needed help as he had slipped and fallen and seemed motionless.
Kisenyi told detectives that when they got to AK 47 he was lying helpless on the floor; convulsing and bleeding from the nose and mouth.
They rushed him to a nearby clinic, but they were told to rush him to a hospital and he was rushed to the nearby St. Peter's Nsambya hospital.
At the hospital AK 47 was pronounced dead on examination.
The bar manager explained that AK 47 along with other musicians under their Team No Sleep label always hang at the bar, which is owned by Jeff Kiwanuka, the group manager, late into the night.
Team No Sleep comprises of musicians like Sheeba Karungi and Pius Mayanja, aka Pallaso, also a brother to the late. read on here
